YCP
Home Audio & Video Store · Home Cinema, Stereo & Speakers
We built YCP a new online store from scratch for home cinema, stereo, speakers, projectors and TVs, and we run its SEO for Google and AI search. The store carries more than 330 products from more than 40 brands, with a brands page, product pages that advise like a salesperson in a shop, shopping by room with packages by budget, and a magazine of buying guides. We built it on WordPress and WooCommerce, with code we wrote for the site.

A New Store From Scratch, With the Feel of a Cinema Room
YCP sells home audio and video equipment, and the business's first requirement was a store that is stable and easy to manage. So we built it on WordPress and WooCommerce with code we wrote for the site, instead of a pile of plugins. The design is dark and elegant, in the brand's indigo tone. The homepage opens with a video we produced with AI: rings of light leave the speakers, lock into the YCP logo and return to the room. Below it come a strip of strengths with 3D icons we made for the site, categories in photos, shopping by room, a short "help me choose" quiz (what, where and on what budget) and featured products. The main menu opens into a wide panel for each category with sub-categories, brands and an image, and search finds products by name, brand or model number. The site launched with an accessibility statement, terms, a privacy policy and a cancellation page, a cookie banner that lets visitors accept essential cookies only, and a 404 page that offers search, categories and WhatsApp instead of a dead end.

A Product Page That Advises Like a Salesperson in a Shop
A receiver, a projector or a speaker set is a considered purchase, so we built the product page to answer questions before they are asked. The top of the page shows the brand, the category, the model name and the price including VAT with instalments, the add-to-cart button, and a warranty line that names the official importer and the warranty period for each brand. A spec band with icons shows the figures that matter for that category, such as channels, power, HDMI and surround on a receiver, and "pairs well with" suggests the matching cables. "Ask Yair" buttons open WhatsApp, a call or a call-back request from the owner. Further down there is a quick comparison with two similar models from the same category based on manufacturer data, "complete your system" and similar models, and on phones a fixed buy bar follows the visitor. Every product got a name in one consistent pattern (type, spec, brand and model), and we wrote its overview, key data and specs from the manufacturer's official sources.

A Brands Page, and a Page for Every Brand
One of the business's core requirements was a brands page: every brand with its logo and a short text, and a click on a brand shows its products. In the catalog we started from, no product was assigned to a brand, so we assigned every product to its brand and collected official logos. The brands page now shows more than 40 brands, among them Monitor Audio, Bowers & Wilkins, Klipsch, ELAC, Yamaha and Denon, with the number of products for each. Every brand got its own page with the logo, a short description, its categories in photos and a filter by price range, so someone searching Google for a particular brand lands straight on its products.

Shopping by Room, a Magazine, and SEO From Day One
Not every customer knows which receiver they need, but every customer knows which room they want to upgrade. So we built four "by room" pages: living room and home cinema, garden and pool, music throughout the home, and businesses and restaurants. The living room page, for example, explains what fits each room size, the difference between 2.1, 5.1 and Dolby Atmos and when to choose in-ceiling speakers, and shows three packages by budget built from real products in the store, with FAQs. The site's magazine launched with 14 buying guides and comparisons, such as how to choose a home cinema receiver, which HDMI cable you need, and OLED versus QLED and Mini LED. We built the SEO in from the start: English URLs, a title and description for every page type, structured data for products with the brand and price, breadcrumbs, and a sitemap for products, categories and brands. From here the SEO continues every month with new articles through Simpi.
