We renovated the website of Samy Ilia Law Office, a Nesher firm practising military, security and criminal law, from the ground up, and we run its SEO for Google and AI search. The site kept its address and its platform, but everything else is new: a black, gold and stone design built around the monogram and column from the firm's logo, a main menu with every practice area, ten practice pages written as a guide to what to do next, new team, about and contact pages, and 77 existing articles corrected and enriched with a summary, FAQs and sources.
The Same Firm, a Completely New Website
The previous site was built on WordPress and Elementor, with a grey banner, a two-row menu and practice areas shown as grey tiles. We did not start from scratch; we renovated what was there from the ground up: the same address, the same platform and the same articles, in a completely new design. The new visual language comes from the firm's logo: black, gold and stone, the SI monogram and the column, a set of gold icons we designed, and one typeface across the site. The homepage now opens with a headline that says what the firm does, a real photo of Adv. Ilia at his desk, call and WhatsApp buttons and a row of facts about his experience. We built every new page as a draft alongside the live site and switched over in one step after a full backup, with redirects from every old address that changed.
A Page for Every Practice Area, Written as a Guide to Act On
Anyone who lands on the site of a military or criminal defence lawyer is usually under pressure: a summons to a Military Police investigation, an indictment or a letter from the Ministry of Defense. So each of the ten practice pages, from military law and Military Police investigations to desertion, security clearance and clearing a criminal record, opens with what to do now: four simple steps, and call and WhatsApp buttons with a prefilled message. Then come a table of the stages of the process, what to prepare for the first conversation, and the person's rights with links to the statute itself. The homepage presents every practice area as a card with an image we generated with AI in an Israeli setting, and the main menu opens them in a wide menu on desktop and a collapsible menu on phones. All copy follows the Israel Bar Association's advertising rules: no promised outcomes and no superlatives.
Articles Checked Against the Law, and SEO That Continues Every Month
The site had dozens of articles written over the years. We went through all of them: we rewrote nine, and in the rest we checked every claim against the wording of the law and corrected hundreds of details. Each of the 77 articles gained an "in short" box at the top, FAQs marked up with FAQPage schema and a list of sources linking to legislation and official sites. We replaced old cover images with ones that fit the topic, wrote a title and description for Google for every page, and linked the articles to the practice pages. From here the SEO work continues every month with new articles, and every article is approved by the firm before it is published.
