We built a personal brand website for Shai Lahav — a journalist, playwright, screenwriter and director with three decades of influence on Israeli culture, coverage in Maariv, Kan 11, ynet, Haaretz and Walla, and theatrical productions at Habima. The site centers on a multi-disciplinary archive of documentaries, plays, books and opinion columns, with creative collaborations alongside Dafna Angel and Kobi Oz, a mechanism for booking cultural-history lectures, and a press section aggregating media coverage in an editorial monochrome style.
We built an ordered archive of Shai's work — documentaries (some featuring archival footage), theatrical productions including at Habima, books, and opinion columns in Maariv, ynet, Haaretz and Walla. Each work is presented with a synopsis, imagery, pull-quotes cited in 5 outlets, and links to watch or purchase. The archive is organized chronologically and by discipline — for the researcher, journalist, or producer looking for Shai.
We built a dedicated booking mechanism for Shai's lecture series on Israeli cultural history — the stories behind productions, characters that weren't told, moments in popular culture. We listed the available topics and added a dedicated form for a producer or institution looking to book. This speaks to an entirely different audience than the documentary and book buyers.
We built a press section aggregating Shai's coverage across 5 outlets, and surfaced the creative collaborations with Dafna Angel and Kobi Oz. The visual style — black-and-white monochrome, editorial typography, archival photography — matches Shai's documentary-journalism world, without ornamental design that would undermine the professional authority.
