We built a sensitive, accessible brand site for New Horizon, a nonprofit trauma-therapy center founded during the October 2023 conflict, offering free treatment to reservists, security personnel and their families. The site explains the therapy modalities, presents staff profiles, and offers discreet contact channels including a confidential intake form and WhatsApp.
Therapy-Modality Explainer Pages
We built a dedicated explainer page for each therapy modality: EMDR (eye-movement reprocessing), PE (prolonged exposure), and WET (written exposure therapy), all in clear, non-threatening language. We deliberately demystified these concepts, because someone with PTSD needs to understand what they are walking into before they will agree to come in for a first session.
Clinical Staff Profiles with Credentials
We presented the clinical staff in personal profiles that include name, photo, credential (clinical psychologist, clinical social worker, psychotherapist), specialty modality, and focus areas. In a mental-health nonprofit, professional trust is not optional. It is everything. Each profile lets a patient choose a therapist by personal fit, not just availability.
Confidential Intake Form with Full Accessibility
We built an intake form carefully designed for this audience, with no excessive required fields, reassurance copy ("can I stay anonymous?"), a WhatsApp option as an alternative to the form, and full WCAG AA accessibility. The site itself uses a calm palette, typography legible even under distress, and avoids animations that could trigger.
