Brand video cost in 2026: what a business video costs and what pushes the quote up
Brand video cost in 2026: price ranges by video type, the line items that inflate a quote, and how one shoot day becomes a version for every platform.

Ask around about brand video cost and the quotes come back looking like they describe completely different products. One videographer asks for a few thousand shekels; a production company talks in tens of thousands. That gap is not random. It comes from shoot days, editing shifts, the number of people on set, and how many versions you end up holding. In this article we lay out the ranges by video type, break down the line items that inflate a quote, and show how one shoot day produces a video for your website, for social and for your Google Business Profile. At the end you will also find our own prices, exactly as they appear on our service page.
Brand video cost: ranges by video type
Before you compare quotes, it helps to know which kind of video you are actually ordering. The table sorts the common types by what drives their price. Our prices are taken from our service page, and market figures are marked with their source.
| Video type | Length and format | What drives the price | Starting price |
|---|---|---|---|
| Short social video | Short, usually vertical | Script, shooting hours, editing and captions | With us from ₪1,500 |
| Full brand video | With us usually 30 to 90 seconds | Shoot days, locations, graphics and number of versions | With us from ₪5,000 |
| Animated video | Per the script | Length and complexity of the animation | By length and complexity |
| AI video with no shoot day | Per the brief | Number of scenes, narration and revision rounds | Quote by scope |
| TV-commercial-level production | A few minutes | Director, actors, studio and a full crew | Tens of thousands of shekels, per Midrag |
And what does the market say about a basic video? According to Midrag, "the price of a basic brand video for a business ranges between ₪3,000–4,000 before VAT". On that same page, the price covers planning and scriptwriting, production, filming and editing. Note that Midrag is describing a brand video of 2 to 3 minutes. So length alone does not explain the price, as the next section shows.
An AI video is a separate route: there is no shoot day, and the scenes are generated in software. What can be produced this way is set out on our AI videos for business page, and we have written about the tools themselves in our guide to AI images and videos for marketing.
Why brand video quotes land so far apart

The price of a video is mostly people's time. That is why suppliers price in units of shoot days and work shifts, not in seconds. According to Midrag, one shoot day is 8 hours, and these are the common additions beyond the basic video:
- An extra shoot day: "every additional shoot day will cost another ₪1,000–2,500 for 8 hours of work".
- An extra editing shift: "every additional editing shift will cost another ₪1,400 for 8 hours of work".
- Graphics and animation: ₪1,000–1,600 per 8-hour shift.
- Hair, make-up and styling: another ₪2,000 on the final price.
An illustrative calculation only, using Midrag's numbers: a basic video, plus one extra shoot day, one editing shift and make-up. That produces a range of roughly ₪7,400 to ₪9,900 before VAT. In other words, three perfectly reasonable additions can more than double the quote.
Which gives us our decision rule: compare quotes by units, not by length. A one-minute video shot across three locations can take two days of filming. A three-minute video shot against a single camera can wrap in half a day. Both are called "a brand video", and their cost is nothing alike.
What inflates a quote: 8 lines to check before you sign
Ask every supplier for an itemised quote, and mark each line as included, not included, or available at extra cost.
- Locations. Every additional filming location means travel, setting up lighting, and time. A single studio is usually the cheapest option.
- Actors and presenters. You or your own staff in front of the camera, or people you pay. This line moves a price fast.
- Narration. A professional voice artist is a separate line. Narration in an additional language is a separate line too.
- Drone footage. An extra operator and extra kit. Ask whether it serves the message, or just looks impressive in the pitch.
- Hair, make-up and styling. Per Midrag, another ₪2,000. Sometimes basic make-up for the faces on camera is enough.
- Graphics and animation. Animated titles, infographics and an animated logo are priced by shifts.
- Number of versions. A horizontal version, a vertical one, a short cut for advertising, and a version with no narration. Every version is editing time.
- Revision rounds and raw footage. How many rounds are included, and who holds the raw footage after the production.
Mistake #1: ordering "a brand video" as a single line on a quote. Without shoot days, shifts and versions written out, you cannot compare anything — and the surprises arrive with the invoice.
One shoot, a version for every platform

The most effective way to bring a video's cost down is not to cut the production, but to get more out of it. Which means planning all the versions before the shoot day, not after it.
- A full version for the website and homepage. For Google to be able to show a video from your site in results, Google Search Central requires a valid thumbnail at a stable URL, and the video must not be hidden behind other elements.
- A version for your Google Business Profile. According to the Google Business Profile Help Centre, a video on a profile can be up to 30 seconds long, up to 75MB in size, and at 720p resolution or higher.
- Vertical versions for social. According to YouTube, Shorts can run up to 3 minutes. That said, in our experience a shorter cut holds viewers better in the feed.
The trick is in the shot list. You mark up front which takes will also be filmed vertically, and which lines can stand alone as a 15-second clip. On the short-video side — hooks and Hebrew captions — we have written our guide to reels for business. And if you are still not sure which video to produce first, go through the types of business video.
What is not worth paying for, and what you must not cut
Not every line on a quote is worth the money. Based on what we see in productions:
- Not worth it: a long intro with an animated logo that viewers skip; drone footage in a video that will mostly be watched on a phone; a three-minute cut when the message is finished after one minute.
- Do not cut: a script written before the shoot; clean sound, because bad audio is far more noticeable than mediocre picture; captions, so the video works for anyone watching without sound.
Mistake #2: choosing by price per second. A cheap video that fits no platform costs more than an expensive one that runs in five places.
Mistake #3: starting from the filming. Without one clear goal and a place for the video to run, even a good production stays in a folder.
What Simple Web does about it
Simple Web is an AI-first marketing agency from Bnei Brak, certified Meta partners and Google advertising experts, working with 200+ businesses and holding 28 five-star Google reviews. In video production we go from script, to filming in our own Bnei Brak studio with professional lighting and microphones, through to editing, graphics and captions. We produce brand videos, product videos, reels and animation, at 1080 to 4K resolution, and we use AI tools to cut both time and cost.
Social videos start with us from ₪1,500, and a full brand video starts from ₪5,000. Animation is priced by length and complexity. A short video is ready within 3–5 work days, and a full brand video within 2–3 weeks. A brand video with us is usually 30 to 90 seconds, and from a single shoot we produce a version for every platform. Filming at your own premises is possible, with an additional charge for travel and set-up. An AI video with no shoot day is priced by scope, and according to our service page it costs significantly less than a filmed brand video of the same length.
Summary
Brand video cost is not one number, but the sum of shoot days, editing shifts, people on set and versions. Compare quotes by those units, not by the length of the video. Go through the eight lines before you sign, and plan a version in advance for every place the video will run. That way the same budget produces more assets.
